Buying cards on the Sorare NBA market usually means guessing: how much will this auction close at, which cards actually fit your stars cap, and is that collection reward worth the money? Three new Sorare NBA market tools answer those questions for you. You will find them in the Market menu, each with a New badge.
Auction Helper: know who you are bidding against
Pick a player and a rarity (Limited, Rare or Super Rare), then choose a window: the last auctions, or the last days. The Auction Helper reads the recent auctions of that card and tells you who is really fighting for it.
What you get for every search:
- Next auction: the live auction for that card, its current price, the minimum next bid, the number of bids and when it ends.
- Summary tiles: auctions analysed, number of bidders, managers still hunting the card, median price with its range, and the recent price trend.
- Last closing prices: a chart of recent auctions against the median, with how many managers bid on each one.
By default, managers who already own the card are hidden: they are not your competition any more. Untick the option to see everyone.
Recommended bid, read on a ladder
Instead of a single magic number, the recommended bid is shown on a ladder: each line pairs a chance of winning with the price it takes, and the recommended line is highlighted. You see the trade-off at a glance and choose how aggressive you want to be. A risk badge warns you when competition is hot or prices are climbing, and the "To beat" row lists the highest known bids of the managers still hunting the card.
It also tells you whether the live auction is still worth playing or already too expensive.
Who is bidding, and when to bid
The bidders table shows each manager's max bid, how many cards they targeted, won and lost auctions, losing streaks and their last bid. Badges flag the managers still without the card, the ones on a losing streak (likely to come back harder) and the last-minute snipers. The When to bid panel compares closing prices by time of day, so you can spot the cheapest and the priciest slots.
The recommended bid, the bidders list and When to bid are Premium features. Everything else is free.
Budget Builder: the best lineup your budget can buy
Which five cards give you the best projected score under the stars cap for your budget? The Budget Builder answers that in one click.

- Choose the rarity and the competition. Each competition shows its stars cap, the minimum number of In-Season cards it requires and the cheapest possible lineup today.
- Set your budget with the slider or a quick budget button.
- Keep Include my cards on to use the cards you already own for free: only the missing ones are bought.
- Click Find the best lineup.
You get the best lineup plus alternatives, each different by at least two players. Every lineup card shows its price, what is left over, its stars against the cap, the In-Season count, the projected score and the Hot Streak level it reaches. Each card to buy has its own Buy on Sorare link, and injuries or players without a game this gameweek are flagged. A gameweek switcher lets you prepare an upcoming gameweek too.
The Budget Builder is a Premium feature. Free users still see the cheapest possible lineup for each competition.
Collect Helper: what your collection missions cost
Sorare NBA collection missions reward you with Essence, but how far is the next level, and what does it cost? The Collect Helper reads your missions and prices what is missing. You need to be logged in.
- Summary: your cards this season, the Essence still to earn, what is ready to claim and your closest reward.
- Mission cards: the current level of each mission and how many cards or complete teams you still need.
- Team collections: for each team, the players you have, the ones missing and the cost to complete at floor price. The cheapest teams to finish are highlighted.
- Players: the missing players with their floor price, any live auction and the other missions they also count for.
- Levels and costs: every level of a mission with the Essence it gives, what is still needed, its cost at floor and the Essence you get per euro.
- Best buys: single cards that move several missions forward at once.
Note that Sorare counts distinct players: a second copy of the same player does not help. Costs per team, the shopping list, levels and costs and best buys are Premium features.
How to use them together
- Use the Collect Helper to find the cheapest missing players for your next collection reward.
- Check the Auction Helper before bidding on one of them, to see who you are up against.
- Before the next gameweek, open the Budget Builder to see whether your budget would be better spent on a full lineup.
These tools were followed a few days later by more updates for the NBA 27 season: read about Rookie Night, the new Craft Helper and the Roster page and the live leaderboard with projected ranks.
