Rookie Night page: Chet Holmgren versus Jamal Murray and the Think you know ball call to action

The NBA 27 season of Sorare NBA is about stars: every player is rated in stars and every lineup has a stars cap. This update brings that logic to three places. Rookie Night lets anyone build a Sorare NBA lineup in 60 seconds without an account, the Craft Helper is rebuilt for NBA 27 crafting, and the Roster page now shows your cards in stars.

Rookie Night: your first Sorare NBA lineup, no account needed

Do you have a friend who keeps asking what Sorare NBA is? Send them to Rookie Night. It is a free, public page that explains the game in one scroll and lets you play it with real gameweek data.

The page walks you through the three rules that matter:

  1. Pick 5 players. Every NBA player is a card, and you need five for a gameweek.
  2. Respect the stars cap. Each player is rated 1 to 5 stars from his recent form. Champion lineups get 16 stars, Contender 11.
  3. Score the best game. Each player keeps his best game of the week, and beating the Hot Streak thresholds wins rewards.

Then comes the draft. Choose Champion or Contender, search a player or a team, and filter the list: All, Bargains, Stars or Rookies. Each player shows his stars, L10, projected score and number of games, with game-time decisions flagged. A counter tells you how many stars you have left, and you can compare your lineup with the optimal lineup for the same cap. Can you get close?

When you are happy, add a nickname if you like and lock your lineup. You get a personal link and a share card: post it on X, copy the link or download the card. Come back after the gameweek and the same link shows your real score, your rank among Rookie Night players, and whether you would have passed the first Hot Streak threshold on Sorare.

Craft Helper NBA 27: craft with star tiers and clues

Crafting changed with NBA 27, and the Craft Helper changed with it.

Craft Helper NBA 27 with odds per card, clue costs and craft slots

  • Pool by star tier: the crafting pool of the rarity is grouped by star tier, with the number of players in the pool and the odds per card for each draw type (Standard, Full Roster, Full Key, Special Star).
  • Load choices from Sorare: one click brings in your craft in progress, with its slots, the cards already revealed and the expiry date.
  • Sorare clues: apply the clues you get on Sorare (Position, Division, 50/50, Best star rank, and the batch clue that keeps the highest-tier cards) and the list of possible players narrows down instantly, with the chance for each slot. Clue costs are shown in shards and clue tokens.
  • Advice: the Craft Helper tells you which slot is the best pick right now, with the expected stars, the chance of landing a high star card and an approximate price. It also compares the remaining clues and tells you which one is worth buying, or when you should keep your Essence.

The Advice card and the player details are Premium features. Prices are indicative: some players have no floor price yet.

Roster: stars on every card, compact view and Premium export

Your Roster now speaks NBA 27:

  • Stars instead of L10: each card shows the player's star rating. Hover it to see the stars and the L10 together. You can also sort your roster by star rating.
  • Compact cards: a new toggle shrinks the cards to the picture, the stars and the name, so you can see your whole collection at once.
  • Export: download your roster as CSV, Excel or JSON, with card details including the edition. The export is a Premium feature.
  • Dark theme: the filter bar and its dropdown menus are now readable in dark mode.

Players page: the right gameweek by default

At the start of the season, Sorare opens several gameweeks at once. The Players page now selects the next gameweek to play by default, instead of the furthest one. You can still switch to a later gameweek to prepare ahead.

How to get started

  1. Share Rookie Night with a friend who has never played Sorare NBA.
  2. Open the Craft Helper, click Load choices from Sorare and follow the advice before you reveal a card.
  3. Switch your Roster to compact cards and check your star ratings before building your lineups.
