At the start of the season, Sorare opens several gameweeks at once. That is a great chance to get ahead, but it is also easy to end up building a lineup for the wrong gameweek. This week's Lineup Builder update makes the gameweek you are working on obvious, lets you prepare the next ones on purpose, and smooths out a few everyday frictions: card prices for concept players, cards used twice, and a clearer gain under each card.
The next gameweek by default, the others one click away
The lineup lobby and the Lineup Autobuilder now always open on the nearest gameweek still to be played, the one you need to deal with first.
When Sorare has opened more than one gameweek, a small chevron appears next to the title. Click it to see the open gameweeks with their start date; the next one is tagged Up next. Pick GW2 or GW3 to prepare it ahead of time.
As soon as you are not on the next gameweek, a Preparing ahead badge shows next to the title, so you never confuse your GW3 lineups with this week's. When you open a competition from the lobby and come back, you land on the same gameweek.
The gameweek and its dates under the builder title
In the manual builder, the gameweek you are composing for is now written right under the NBA Lineup Builder title, with its start and end dates. The Preparing ahead badge shows there too when it is not the next gameweek. This subtitle is shown on desktop.
Floor prices on concept cards
Concept mode lets you add players you do not own to simulate a lineup before you buy. Now, when you hover a concept card (or tap it on mobile), a Floor price tooltip shows the cheapest card on sale for that player, Classic and In Season, for each rarity allowed in the competition. Prices are shown in the currency you picked on the site.
It works in the player list, in the lineup slots and in the mobile lineup sheet. Concept mode, and therefore the floor price tooltip, is a Premium feature.
A card already in another lineup? You choose
A card can only play once per gameweek, but when you juggle many lineups it is easy to reuse one by mistake. Now, when you save a lineup that uses a card already in another saved lineup of the gameweek, a Card already used window shows up, listing the cards concerned with the player's photo and name, the competition and the slot where they are already used. Two choices:
- Remove the other lineup and save: the other lineup is deleted and yours is saved;
- Save and keep the card in both: useful if you are still comparing options, with the reminder that lineups sharing a card cannot be sent to Sorare as they are.
In the Send to Sorare window, duplicates are now easier to read too: you see the competition name with its slot (for example "Limited Champion #1") and its In Season / Classic icon, and the player's name.
The lobby shows the gain under each card
The saved lineups in the lobby (introduced in the lineup lobby article) got a clearer layout:
- the stars now sit above each card, out of the way of the player's face;
- under each card, two round chips: the gain (projection minus L10), coloured from bad to excellent like in the builder, and the projected score, coloured by score;
- the lineup header shows the Champion or Contender icon on a badge in the rarity colour, instead of the generic Sorare crest.
The "copy as image" button gives you the same layout, ready to share.
How to prepare a future gameweek
- Open the lineup lobby or the Lineup Autobuilder.
- Click the chevron next to the gameweek title and pick the gameweek to prepare.
- Check the Preparing ahead badge: you are building for a later gameweek.
- Build and save your lineups as usual. If a card is already used elsewhere in that gameweek, choose what to do in the window.
- Come back to the next gameweek at any time with the same selector (tagged Up next).
