Sorare NBA 27 Lineup Builder: build under the new Stars cap

Sorare NBA 27 Lineup Autobuilder with In Season, Classic and Arena tabs and the stars cap per competition

Sorare NBA 27 changes the way you build a lineup: the old L10 cap is gone and every player now costs Stars. If you keep thinking in L10 points, you will leave value on the bench. Both Sorare NBA Jet lineup builders, the automatic one and the manual one, have been rebuilt around the Stars cap so you can prepare your NBA 27 lineups with the right numbers from day one.

Stars replace the L10 cap

Each player gets a star rating that reflects his recent form, from 1★ up to 5★, with a half star for every 5 points of L10 (15 L10 gives 1.5★, 30 gives 3★, 50 and above gives 5★). Your lineup has a star budget per competition, for example 16★ in Champion and 11★ in Contender at launch.

In the builders, the stars sit on top of every card, and the L10 and projection stay at the bottom so you can still judge form at a glance. The lineup total reads like 16★ / 16★, and in the manual builder it turns red as soon as you go over budget.

You can also see where a player stands on the star scale from his player page: the L10 history chart now shows the star tiers as dotted lines, so you can tell how close he is to gaining or losing half a star (L10 history is a Premium feature).

Lineup Autobuilder 27

The Lineup Autobuilder (marked 27 in the menu) now builds under the Stars cap.

  • In Season / Classic / Arena tabs: competitions are grouped by type, each with its icon. Arena has its own tab.
  • Short name and cap under each competition: Champion, Contender, U23, Veterans… with the star cap right below (for example 16★), so you know the budget before you pick a slot.
  • Stars in the player lists: in "Player to exclude" and "Locked players", every player shows his stars then his L10 (for example 4★ · 61).
  • Clear error messages: if you are missing In Season cards or eligible cards for a competition, the builder tells you instead of failing silently.
  • Player details: click a card to open the player sheet with his games and projections.

Free managers can generate full lineups for Common competitions. For other rarities, part of each generated lineup is blurred: Premium unlocks the full lineups.

Manual Lineup Builder 27

The new manual builder opens from Lineup Builder 27 in the menu. Pick a competition and a slot from the selector at the top: each competition shows its type icon, its number of slots and its star cap.

A list view made for stars

Your cards are shown in a single list view, sortable by ★ (star rating), L10, Proj. (projected score), Gain (projection minus L10), Time (projected minutes) and XP (card bonus). Quick filters help you narrow it down:

  • Afford.: only players whose star rating still fits in the remaining budget of your lineup.
  • IS: only In Season cards.
  • Avail.: hide cards that are sealed, already used in another saved lineup, locked, or OUT with no projection.
  • Concept (Premium): also show players you do not own, to simulate a lineup before you buy.
  • A max stars selector (≤ 4.5★ down to ≤ 1★) and a minimum games selector for the gameweek.

Budget, projection and Hot Streak at a glance

The lineup panel shows Stars used / cap, the remaining stars, the projected score, the average XP bonus and the minimum number of games. If the competition has a Hot Streak, you also see your current step, the target score and how many points you still need. If something is wrong (over budget, duplicate player, sealed card…), the Save button tells you why.

The AI Analysis button is greyed out for now: it will be back later this season. And if you would rather let the machine do the work, the Options menu has a direct link to the Auto Builder.

Send your lineups to Sorare

Once your lineups are saved, the Send button pushes them to Sorare in one go, from both builders. The send window lists the lineups, warns you if the same card is used twice, then you just confirm them on Sorare to finish.

Two limits to know:

  • Arena lineups cannot be sent: Sorare does not allow it. Build them in Sorare NBA Jet, then enter them manually on Sorare. The builder marks them with a hand icon.
  • During the NBA 27 Preseason mode, before the first gameweek, you can practice with simulated star ratings, but nothing can be sent.

How to use it

  1. Open Lineup Builder 27 or Lineup Autobuilder 27 from the menu.
  2. Pick the competition type (In Season, Classic or Arena), then the competition and the slot.
  3. Build your lineup by hand or click Generate lineups, keeping an eye on the Stars total.
  4. Save, repeat for your other competitions, then click Send to Sorare and confirm on Sorare.
