If you play Sorare MLB seriously, you probably have your own opinion on who is going to hit this week. Until now, the Sorare MLB lineup builder on Sorare NBA Jet only showed the default projections. Now you can bring your own numbers, and the builder got a set of filters that make it faster to fill every competition without reusing the wrong card.
This article also covers two earlier MLB updates: support for the 2026 season and the new MLB Craft Helper.
Your own projections in the MLB lineup builder
Projections drive everything in a lineup builder: the sort order, the projected total of your lineup, the cards you pick first. If you rate a player higher or lower than the default projection, you can now replace it.
There are two ways to do it.
Edit a projection directly in the builder
Click the projected score on any player row, type your value and press Enter. The row is marked as a custom projection, and the tooltip shows both your number and the default one. A small reset icon next to the score puts the default projection back.
Import a whole file of projections
If you work with your own spreadsheet, use the My projections button in the builder header:
- Download the template. It lists every player, sorted by team and name, with the current projection.
- Edit the
projectioncolumn in your favorite spreadsheet. Leave theplayer_slugcolumn untouched: it is how each line is matched to a player. - Upload the file back. The builder tells you how many projections were applied, how many were identical to the default, and which lines it could not match.
A badge on the button shows how many custom projections are active. Projections are separate for Classic and Daily competitions, and they are tied to the current gameweek: when a new gameweek opens, you start fresh. A Delete all my projections button clears everything in one click.
Custom projections are a Premium feature. Free users still see the button, but it is locked.
New filters and a smoother card list
The card list on the right of the builder got several improvements:
- Hide in use: hides cards that are already placed in another saved lineup (other competition or other slot) or already locked in the current Classic gameweek. No more picking a card you have already used elsewhere.
- Card counter and reset: you always see how many cards match your filters, how many filters are active, and a Reset button to clear search and filters at once.
- Simpler search: filter by player name, team, card season (for example 2026) or rarity. Several words must all match.
- Max L10 and number of games filters, plus In-Season, sealed cards and concept cards (concept cards are Premium) toggles, now all explained by a tooltip.
- A clear message when no card fits the selected position.
Long collections also load progressively as you scroll, so the builder stays responsive even with a very large roster.
Every button in the builder header now has a short explanation on hover: refresh your cards after buying, selling or unsealing, import projections, review and submit your lineups to Sorare.
Ready for the 2026 MLB season
Since late March, the builder follows the 2026 season: the In-Season filter and counters now refer to 2026 cards, so you can check at a glance how many In-Season cards your lineup holds before submitting it.
MLB Craft Helper
Crafting is a gamble, but you can still know the odds before you burn your cards. The MLB Craft Helper lets you prepare a craft the way you would on Sorare:
- Pick the rarity (Limited, Rare, Super Rare, Unique) and the draw type.
- Add slots and, for each one, choose a position, a division and the perks you want.
- Or click Load choices from Sorare to fill in the options you currently have.
- See the probabilities, the list of players you can get with their tier and available supply, and your chance per card.

The player-by-player details are reserved for Premium members; everyone can build the slots and see the overall setup.
If you want to keep a record of your MLB collection outside Sorare, you can also export all your MLB cards to Excel, CSV or JSON, as explained in our article on exports.
How to get started
- Go to the MLB lineup builder and open a competition.
- Turn on Hide in use to see only the cards you can still play.
- Click a projected score to adjust it, or use My projections to import your own file (Premium).
- Build your lineups, then review and send them to Sorare from the header.
